Bream is designed for women 55 and older who are looking to build meaningful connections through groups, events, and shared experiences.

While Bream is built specifically with women 55+ in mind, we do not require age verification, and members self-select into the community.

We collect only the information needed to operate Bream safely and effectively.

When you create a Bream account, you are required to provide:

  • Birth year
  • Location (such as city or zip code)
  • Interests & preferences
  • Username (automatically generated, and editable by you)

When you use Bream, you may choose to share the additional information, including:

  • Messages or posts shared in groups, events, or forums
  • Feedback, survey responses, or support requests

We collect full name and birth year to support age-appropriate experiences, community safety, and account integrity.

You are never required to create a public-facing profile with detailed personal information.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use Bream, we may collect limited technical information, such as:

  • Log data (pages visited, actions taken)
  • Cookies or similar technologies (see Section 9)

  • Content shared in groups may be visible to other members in those groups.
  • Content shared in forums may be visible to all members of Bream.

Information you share within Bream may be subject to moderation and enforcement actions, including content removal or account suspension, if the Community Guidelines are violated.

  • Your username (or chosen display name), city and shared content may be visible to members of groups or events you join.

C. Partnerships & Sponsored Programs

Bream may collaborate with trusted partners - such as community organizations, healthcare-adjacent companies, or service providers - to offer events, programs, or resources aligned with our mission.

When we work with partners:

  • We do not sell personal information
  • Partners do not receive access to personal data unless required to deliver a specific experience you choose to participate in.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data (which does not identify you personally) to understand community needs, improve Bream, and evaluate programs or partnerships.   • Bream is not responsible for the actions, conduct, or safety of individuals at in-person meetups.
  • We encourage members to meet in public places, trust their instincts, and prioritize personal safety.

Participation in in-person events is optional. Bream does not perform background checks on members or event participants.


7. Your Choices & Controls

You have control over your information:

  • You can update or correct your account details at any time.
  • You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
  • You may opt out of non-essential emails on your user profile or by using unsubscribe links in emails.
